Daniel Joseph ~ named after loved ones
My husband and I named our son Daniel for his best friend. Daniel Snyder and my husband were both Air Force Pararescuemen together. My husband had been injured and as a result, had been rendered unable to go on a mission. Daniel was substituted. Unfortunately, the helicopter that Daniel was flying in went down and all aboard were killed. My husband felt he should have been on that mission, and for the longest time this affected him.
Joseph was my grandfather's name. My grandfather was an Air Force veteran, serving in World War II, Korea and Vietnam. He was a great and honorable man.
