I wanted to name my son after my husband whose name is William Daniel but I wanted to put a little twist on it so it wouldn't be exactly the same. My husband's family is German/Irish so we chose Liam Daniel. Liam is the Irish form of William and it means "strong protector" and Daniel is from the Old Testament and means "A wise and upright judge". My husband really likes the name and loves that his first child, who also happens to be a son, will be named after him.
