Lincoln ~ named for the president; Celtic meaning "from the settlement by the pool"
We considered numerous last names. After returning from a trip to Washington D.C., we decided to name our son Lincoln. We circled every presidential name that could be used as a first name. We were fascinated with everything we heard, read and saw about President Lincoln and it was a natural fit.
