StorkNet's Message Boards have been "ad-free" since we went to a paid membership. We would, however, like to give members an opportunity to post links to their MarketPlace posts in their signatures. In order to do this in an unobtrusive way, we are minimizing the use of promotional language and have instituted the following guidelines: The only wording permitted for MarketPlace links in signatures is a single line with "See information about my [business, charity, contest, sales and/or swaps] in the MarketPlace forums." For example, "See information about my charity and sales in the MarketPlace forums." "See information about my baby photo contest in the MarketPlace forums." "See information about my business in the MarketPlace forums." The only font size permitted for MarketPlace links will be size 1 or 2; bolding or otherwise highlighting the link is not permitted. You may not advertise or link to your MarketPlace post(s) in other forums or posts. If a signature link does not follow the above guidelines, it will be deleted with no notice either before or after deletion. If you have questions about what is permitted, please email or PM a moderator. Thank you! All transactions and negotiations must take place in PM or email only - not on the boards. Questions asking for clarification are okay on the board, but details about the transaction, including questions about whether something has been sent, must happen via email or PM. Any negotiations or requests for an item that are posted to a thread will be deleted without notice to either the buyer or seller. All transactions are at your own risk. If you are unable to resolve it, you may email or PM a moderator, copied to the other party, for reference purposes only; the other party will also be given a chance to respond to you and the moderator for reference purposes only. Those who repeatedly do not follow through on their transactions will be barred from using the MarketPlace forums in the future. All users outside the U.S. are solely responsible for discovering and complying with any laws or regulations applicable to these transactions in their own countries.
