Harriet Bean was at home when one of her detective aunts called her. They had a mystery to solve. They knew Harriet Bean was the right girl because last time she helped them solve a mystery and did a very good job. She rushed right over to their agency. They said: A horse trainer named Mr. Fetlock, hadn't won a race in three months. He didn't know what was happening, but he was worried. Harriet Bean knew she had to solve this case, because if she didn't, Mr. Fetlock would lose his job!
This is a good mystery. Parents might buy this book for their child(ren), because this story teaches a lesson. The lesson is: Don't do bad things or bad things will come back to you. This is a good book for second and third graders, because the vocabulary is not difficult. Parents, if your child(ren)have a book report due, this is a good story to read and can be finished in a timely manner. If you want to find out why Mr. Fetlock hasn't won a race, I recommend you read this book.
