A short information packed book, The "I Have a Life" Pregnancy Guide is for the expectant mom who is tired of the big "information overload" books typical of the pregnancy and childbirth genre. It's small enough to carry in a purse or briefcase and thumbed through when you have a few spare minutes.
Part one is broken down by month and includes such information as "this month's priorities" (basically a list of things to do), fetal development, maternal changes, what you may feel like, doctor's visits and anything else specific to that month.
The other two parts are broken down into "Taking Care of Yourself" and "Getting Down to Business" which covers everything from nutrition to planning for birth and even breastfeeding.
The author, Andrea Mattei, is also the author of The Only Clutter Control Book You'll Ever Need and it's obvious she used her expertise to keep clutter out of The "I Have a Life" Pregnancy Guide. If you're looking for lots of in depth information on pregnancy and childbirth, this isn't the book for you. However, if you're looking for something less involved but still informative - more like a crash course on pregnancy and childbirth, you'll like this little gem.
