Have a basket baby shower!
Have guests bring their gifts "wrapped" in a basket of some sort. You can use decorative baskets to wrap most smaller gifts. An example would be a small basket filled with baby socks. Other variations of "baskets" could include baby bathtubs filled with bath supplies, laundry baskets filled with either clothes or laundry supplies, a diaper pail filled with diapers and diapering supplies, or even a toy box with toys inside. The object is to make the wrapping a part of the gift.
Gather baskets from your family and friends to use as part of the decorating scheme for the party. You can even use them to hold refreshments, such as cookies or chips. With just a few baskets, you can carry the theme throughout the shower. Get creative and have fun!
