| Success Second Time Around |
|
It is not at all uncommon for a first breastfeeding experience to end before the mother is ready. Unfortunately for a whole variety of reasons, including lack of support, poor information from medical professionals, and just plain bad luck, things can go awry. Women who have had a bad experience breastfeeding their first child will naturally approach the feeding decision with their second child feeling with some degree of trepidation: will things be just as tough this time? How will I feel if it doesn't work out this time as well? Am I just not cut out for breastfeeding? Below you will find some stories from women who have experienced these very questions but have managed to go on and successfully, and with great joy, breastfeed subsequent children. I hope their stories will be an inspiration and encouragement to all who read them.
