Can I reuse expressed breastmilk?
By Jo-Anne Lawless, HCA, LC

Jo-Anne LawlessQ. If baby takes some expressed breast milk but does not finish, does the rest need to be tossed, or can it be put back in the refrigerator to be used again later?

A. Yes, the rest does need to be tossed! Any unused, already warmed breastmilk is not safe to re-use.
