Our Junk to Gems topic focuses on household "junk" that can be used in new ways. This time we're asking:
What can you do with clothespins? We're talking about both the old-fashioned kind, and the newer kind with the spring, wooden or plastic.
Here are some clothespin ideas from our members:
From gloria ~ the ones with the springs, it is a great project for kids to do for grandma for Mother's Day, Valentine's Day (for anyone), or any occasion for anyone with a fridge.
See what we made with Gloria's idea here in May's Project of the Month
From Miche ~ Clothespin reindeer! I made these for the Heart of the Home Ornament Exchange.
From gloria ~ the old fashion ones [can be] made into a reindeer brooch.
From Caryl ~ Make these watercolor butterflies
From Caryl ~ Have a toddler try dropping clothespins into the top of an empty gallon milk jug, or poke holes the cups of an egg carton, and have them stick the clothespins in those.
