When is the best time to have sex when trying to conceive? In the morning, afternoon or at night?
A. This depends on a couple of things. In general, unless you have an ultrasound to know when you ovulated, each woman's body is a little different in terms of when her mucus changes, when her LH peaks in her urine ...
So it is more important to have intercourse every day (or every other if your partner has a low sperm count) throughout your fertile time than to worry about time of day. One important thing on this is to make sure you go long enough through your cycle. Ovulation is the last thing that happens with all these body changes and urine test peaks etc, so if you get too hyper upfront, many couples burn out by the time the egg is actually there!
The only other thing, is that the more your partner is turned on and if the sex is great, the more sperm he can produce--so pick times of day that are conducive to good sex, instead of waiting until late at night when you are both tired.
Good luck!
