Underwire Bras and Pregnancy

Q. Are underwire bras safe during pregnancy? I had heard that they're not during breastfeeding, but wondered if it's okay to wear them while pregnant. I find them more supportive with these larger breasts.
A. Underwires are okay as long as they fit comfortably and are not restricting movement or pressing on breast tissue. It's also best if your entire breast is supportive inside the bra rather than the push up styles.
