Alicia Huntley, CNM, MSN
Alicia Huntley, CNM/MSN has been interested in pregnancy and childbirth ever since reading her mom's copy of "Childbirth Without Fear" at the age of ten. She was a peer counselor in high school, a childbirth educator when her children were very little, a labor and delivery nurse as her children were growing up, and is now a certified nurse-midwife. She was awarded her Master's degree on the same date and from the same school where her oldest child was awarded a Bachelor's degree, holding to a family tradition of life long learning. She has six children, ranging from the age of 27 to 13 years old. Until recently, Alicia was practicing midwifery in a small rural hospital. For the last year she has been practicing in an urban clinic providing care to immigrant and indigent women. As part of this, she precepts Residents in Obstetrics and Gynecology as they acquire expertise in caring for women's health.
