Certified Nurse-Midwife
Cynthia Bullock Flynn is a Certified Nurse-Midwife at Columbia Women's Clinic and Birth Center in Kennewick, Washington. She takes care of pregnant women and infants up to two weeks of age and attends both birth center and hospital births. She also practices well-woman gynecology, family planning, and treatment of Sexually Transmitted Diseases. Before Cynthia earned her CNM, she worked as a registered nurse in labor and delivery and post-partum and is a certified doula and doula trainer.
Ms. Flynn earned her BA degree in Sociology at the University of Washington in 1968; her MA and PhD degrees in Sociology were earned from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill in 1970 and 1974; she became a Certified Doula at the Seattle Midwifery School in 1991; her RN degree was earned at Yale University in 1995 and her MSN and CNM degrees were earned at Yale also
in 1996.
