protein are the key nutrients of foods in the Milk and Dairy Group.
Two to three servings are suggested. For pregnant and breastfeeding
women, recommended intake is 3-to-4 servings and 4-to-5 servings,
respectively. Calcium-fortified soy milk or calcium-fortified juices
are other options. Without these foods, calcium supplements are usually
necessary. |
