Vitamin C, beta-carotene,
fiber and carbohydrate (fuel) are the key nutrients of fruit. These
foods best when eaten whole, fresh and raw. Eat a variety for best
nutrient combinations. Watch portion sizes though. Fruit juices are
especially easy to over-do.
