Week 17
~ Feeling Awful

I am very much over not feeling well. It's not morning sickness or anything but more the winter colds and flus. I've had a cough now for four months and with the antibiotics not having worked, there's little else that can be done other than put up with it. On top of all that, I had a terrible week with headaches. I've never really suffered much from headaches, but this past week has been a nightmare one for them. I had hardly got out of bed all weekend as every time I did my head would spin and I'd feel dizzy. I'm pretty sure it's just a pregnancy related headache and coping with the extra blood volume or something. I'm feeling a lot better now, but it was a terrible week. On top of not feeling well myself, Evelyn also got some sort of vomiting bug and spent a few days rather cuddly and lethargic and sleeping lots (thankfully). My mother-in-law had to take both the kids to the doctor's this week as I was unable to and the doc found nothing. Elijah has sore ears, so I hope that's not an indication of worse to come. So, here's hoping we're all on the mend now and the headaches will subside soon.

On other news, my parents came to visit last week for a couple of days. I took them to several gardens in the rhododendron and garden festival. We've had some lovely weather for it. The kids enjoyed spending time with their nana and granddad and it was good to see them. They live four hours drive away, so we don't get to see them very much.

Exams are all complete for both Hadley and I. I thought we had a week's grace before the next paper started, but it turns out we are right back into it this week. At least we are doing the same paper this semester, so hopefully that will make it easier.

Well, that's about it for this week. Hopefully next week, I'd have a little more to report on and I won't have spent most of the week unwell. Catch you next week.
