~ Feeling Better
First of all, I am feeling much better this week! My cold is almost completely gone. It was quite draining. It is amazing how a cold magnifies pregnancy symptoms. I am so happy it is over.
I have been having quite a few Braxton hicks contractions. I don't remember having any with my daughter. I seem to have at least one every 2-3 hours. Some of them are very painful. I suppose it is normal, but it makes me nervous every time I get one. I have a doctor's appointment next week, so I will be sure to speak with the doctor about it.
We still need to get the nursery ready for this baby. I feel as if there is so much to do before she comes. There is so much going on between remodeling the house, holidays, and trying to prepare for this baby. It is quite overwhelming. We have now decided to move our office into our shed to make room for the baby. So, we have to completely re-do the shed to accommodate an office, which is quite a chore in itself. We are also in the middle of remodeling our kitchen and living room. I am hoping we can finish the living room and kitchen this week and then begin working on re-doing the shed the following week, but I am not sure it is possible with Thanksgiving coming up.
I had a call from the doctor, setting up the time for the c-section. I have to be at the hospital by 5am . . . eeek! That means we need to leave our house by 4am and I have to wake up by 3am. I doubt I will even be able to sleep the night before I have the baby! It is exciting having the birth scheduled. I am getting more and more excited every day that passes. My dad is counting down the days and calls me everyday letting me know how much longer I have to go. He is so excited. So, as he informed me today, I only have 60 days left until Lauren gets here.
