~ Feeling Better (Again)

To begin with, I am feeling much better this week. I still have a few reminisces of my cold in my sinuses, but am thankful to be mostly over this cold. Sadly, my husband came down with the cold yesterday. I am hoping that he doesn't give it back to me.

The pregnancy is moving right along. I am getting so anxious to have this baby. My belly is getting in the way of doing most anything these days. I wake up most every night throwing up, I suppose from my stomach being crammed upwards. I have learned to not eat supper or eat a VERY light supper which helps. I still have only gained 11 pounds up to this point. I just don't have much of an appetite. I think I eat less now than I did before I was pregnant. Nothing really tastes the same anymore and everything gives me heartburn. I think I have taken about 5 large bottles of Tums since I have been pregnant. I suppose I am getting plenty of calcium!

I am continuing to get Braxton hicks contractions. I actually had quite a few last Saturday and was concerned. They were coming about every 20 minutes for a couple of hours, but eventually they subsided. I still get one every two to three hours. For the last two days my stomach had been cramping as well. I am not sure if it just because of the stretching going on inside or what. I suppose as long as I do not see any blood, I should be okay. I am so paranoid. I am going to the doctor next week and will ask him about it.

I would really like to get a 4-d sonogram done, but just don't want to spend the $200.00 to get it done. I had made an appointment, but then canceled it because I couldn't justify the expense. I will be able to see her in less than two months. I find myself imagining what she is going to look like. Will she have dark hair like my husband or light hair like me? What color will her eyes be? Will she be tall? Will she be a chubby baby? I just wonder. I only have a little over 6 weeks to go and I can't wait to see Little Miss Lauren.
