Hello everyone! My name is Brelee and I am 24 years old and my husband Cain is 33 years old. We are both originally from Texas, but now live in Virginia. In my spare time I am usually running, wakeboarding or doing anything that keeps my active. I am extremely outgoing! I will talk to anyone pretty much about anything. I blame my mother for that. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
Cain and I are both in the Coast Guard. I have been in for 5 years and Cain has been in for nearly 10 years. We have lived in Washington State, Alaska and Florida. We met in Kodiak, Alaska at the local bar and instantly hit if off! Once we had been dating for a couple weeks we realized that we had mutual friends in Texas. We think it is hilarious we had to go all the way to Alaska to meet. In the Coast Guard, I am basically an administrative assistant. I deal with people's travel, pay, awards, and many other things. Cain is an Aviation Electronics Technician which entails working on our helicopters' electronics. We both love the Coast Guard (we get that question a lot).
Cain and I got married exactly two years after we started dating on June 4, 2009 in Las Vegas at Mandalay Bay Hotel. It was the perfect wedding for us. We didn't want to spend a lot of money and wanted our family and close friends to enjoy it, and believe me they all did!
I am going to be going back to school for a degree in Sports Management in January. This means I will be coming off of active duty and going into the reserves. I will still be in the Coast Guard, but only working one weekend a month and two weeks in the summer while completing my degree. Since I have completed my active duty time I am going to be paid to go to school. I would have stayed on active duty, but since we have decided to start a family it would be very difficult.
Our due date is August 1, 2010 and my birthday is August 4th. That means our baby and I are both Leos! If you know anything about Leo's, it's probably that we are loud, bossy and always have to be in control. Let's hope for Cain's sake it's not a girl! On the bright side though, we are warm hearted, open, active, and loving! But, if it is a girl, she should be able to wrap her daddy around her little finger.
