Week 28
~ Third Trimester!

I can't believe that I'm already in my third trimester! It's unbelievable how fast this pregnancy has gone by and I can't believe in only 12 weeks, we'll meet our sweet baby! Part of the reason it's going by so fast is having a toddler around. I don't have as much time to think about being pregnant and the weeks just fly by.

Finley has been really sweet and kisses and hugs my belly daily. We've been talking to her about the new baby that's coming and she gets really excited. I think she's starting to understand a little bit too because this week we started getting the baby's room ready. We finally moved the crib out of her room and into the baby's room. We have gotten back a lot of things we lent out to our family and friends with new babies, so Finley is getting the idea that the new baby has its own things and bedroom. She loves to go in baby's room and look at the crib and talk about how cribs are only for babies and she's a big girl!

I have another new pregnancy symptom: pain on the right inside part of my private area and then down around the back inside part of my right leg. Very hard to describe but I think I may have pulled a muscle or something. It feels best when I walk or move around, but worst when I lie down or sit. Strange . . .

On a more fun note, you can now see the baby moving around in my belly. It's fascinating to me to see just exactly how the baby is moving and where. I'm feeling some kicks a little higher these days, but this little one still loves to be down low!

Mike also had his first sympathy pregnancy craving - corn bread with honey! I had to run to the store to buy cornbread mix just so I could make it with dinner one night. I told him that he's finally getting to see how it is when you are pregnancy and really really crave some kind of food - in my case, tuna fish (still!).

Have a great week!
