Things are going good here in cold Michigan! Will the weather ever warm up? We got hit with another blast of snow last night - around 6 inches worth. Spring has got to be in the near future. It would be so nice to be able to get home from work and go for a walk outside on a nice, warm sunny day. I am looking forward to that.
Well last week my husband and I started working on the nursery. We got the new crib, changing table and dresser all put together. The room is finally starting to look like a room for some babies. Next week we are going to purchase paint and get started on that. Once we get the painting done and the other crib in the room - and the pictures hung on the wall - the nursery will finally be complete. It's so exciting!
So far I have accumulated a lot of newborn boy clothes. I almost have two draws full in the dresser. I need to start accumulating little girl clothes because I do not have that much. I think I have four outfits. I actually purchased my first two little girl outfits last week - they are so cute! I have never gotten to purchase little girl clothes for my own child before. It's exciting.
My husband and I are debating over baby names. We have plenty of time to decide but as of right now we like the name Carleigh for the little girl and Connor for the little boy name. Our son Tyler likes those names too! Picking out names is the hardest. We have lots of time to decide. First names are complicated enough but then having to pick out middle names too! Geez! Deciding on names is one of the excitements during pregnancy.
Statistically week 20 says the babies are around 7 1/2 inches long and weigh between 12 oz. to 1 pound. I feel them moving around inside my belly quite often now - more and more each day. It's one of the greatest feelings in the world. My belly button has almost become an outie! When I wear certain shirts you can definitely tell. It's funny but cute.
Well that is all I have for this week. I just wanted to let everyone know that things are going great.
Check back next week for another update.
Talk to all of you soon,
