Week 23 ~ March 27, 2008 ~ Looking Forward to Friday!
Hello everyone!! I am feeling much better this week. I think my cold is finally gone. I have not been coughing near as much as I was last week. It's nice to finally get a good night's sleep.
This week I have felt really tired. I just don't seem to have a lot of motivation to do much of anything. Maybe it's because last week we were busy with the house - but this week I feel like I need a nap every afternoon. Unfortunately I can't take naps because I have to work! Oh well - the week is almost over and I will have the weekend to catch up on some well needed rest.
We have our 24 week appointment this Friday. I will have my normal monthly check up and then I will get my monthly ultrasound. I am really excited! We get to see our babies again. It's just a huge relief after I have an appointment so I know things are going as planned and that the babies are growing like they are supposed to and are getting the nutrients they need.
I have been thinking that my husband and I really need to sit down and start thinking of some baby names. First names are difficult enough to decide but then they also need middle names too! When our son Tyler was born we decided to give him the same initials as my husband "TAW" so we kind of want to keep the same tradition with the next two. The next two will have my initials "CJW". So far we have been trying to decide on first names. For the little girl - we like the names Caylee and Carleigh. For the little boy name - we like the names Cayden and Conner. We think we have narrowed it down to those - but you never know. Next we need to determine middle names for both that start with the letter "J".
We did get the babies' room painted. We painted it yellow. The trim still needs to be painted and we are going to paint that a pastel green. It looks good so far and things are finally coming together. It looks more and more like a baby's room everyday.
My son Tyler felt the babies move earlier this week. He thought it was so cool. He is always talking to my stomach and before he goes to bed he makes sure he tells them both good night. He is so cute and he is going to be the best big brother! I just think he is getting tired of waiting for them to get here. Well I am almost 6 months so not that much longer - that's what I tell myself anyway.
Well that's about all for this week. I will have more information to share with all of you next week since I have an appointment this Friday. So check back next week for another update!
