Casey's Pregnancy Journal

Week 37
~ Just waiting for our girl

Not much new to report on the pregnancy front. I didn't have an OB check this week, but I did check my blood pressure at work periodically and they've all been nice and low. I go in Tuesday for a check, and I'm hoping I'm at least dilated 1 or 2 cm. I had a few nights of cramping/contractions so I'm hoping this little girl is at least starting to think about making her entrance. This could become a very long couple of weeks if she decides to stay put until her due date or later.

Our Fourth of July was great. We went to the Water Park in our town for a few hours in the afternoon; it was super hot, about 100 degrees, so it felt heavenly! I think the best medicine for a pregnant woman is definitely to get in the water. Ryan had a wonderful time, he loved all the slides and swimming in the wave pool. We're actually thinking of getting a family pass for next summer since it was such a hit. We then had Tim's family over for pizza and then we did some fireworks for the kids. It was a very nice, relaxing holiday.

This week I've just been wrapping things up at work and we're looking forward to a nice weekend at home, hopefully finishing up a few last minute projects and trying to keep up on the housework so we're ready for Natalie's arrival! I included hopefully what will be the last belly pic, I don't think it can get any bigger!
