~ A Drive to Natchez

The drive to Natchez took around seven hours. A little more than we had thought, but it wasn't too bad. Scott's cousin and his wife were married in a beautiful historical home. It was truly a gorgeous wedding. We also attended the rehearsal dinner and the reception. On the drive home, we stopped by Cracker Barrel for dinner. Yummy!

I've gained around 3 lbs so far. I haven't been able to get out for walks because of the cold weather. Oh how I miss the outdoors already! Jonathan really enjoys our walks too. I take him in the baby jogger and I listen to music on the walkman. What fun! Usually I time my walk to coincide with Jonathan's naptime and he falls asleep on our walk. I just feel so much better when I'm exercising! If only I could motivate myself to do an exercise video or something!!

Scott starts a new job on Thursday. He will be doing something very different than the job he's had for the past couple years. He really enjoyed his job until the management changed hands and his new boss was . . . well, I won't even go there! He had been offered the job he is starting many times before but kept declining. That is until a couple weeks ago! It was a salary increase, but it will entail a small amount of travel. Most of the travel will be day trips though after his weekly trainings are over.

We have our appointment with the midwife on Thursday evening! Scott is coming, and he'll get to meet her for the first time. We're going to try to hear the heartbeat, but it will most likely be too early.

The Blessed Thistle is helping my supply. It's still much lower but better. I am having a hard time drinking all the water!!! But, I know that it's really important since I'm still nursing too.
