Had a chiropractor appointment this week, and this time I also had a massage! Woohoo! It was very nice and relaxing.
I found out on Wednesday morning that my friend Cathi had her baby!! It sounds like she's having a wonderful babymoon. I look forward to seeing her and meeting the new baby.
Scott and I celebrated our 3 year anniversary on Wednesday, the 23rd. It is hard to believe we've been married three years! Time has flown so fast, and sometimes it feels like time is passing way too quickly! My son will be two in just a few months, and soon we'll have a second child. When I really think about it, I am still adjusting to all of these things! Scott, Jonathan and I went out to dinner and had a wonderful time. It was such a treat. Scott and I talked much about the past three years, our love for each other and what we're thankful for.
Thursday I had my midwife appointment. It went fairly well. I'm getting nervous but I am already and continue to be very excited about the birth of our child.
I found out Thursday that my brother is joining the Army. He is to leave on the 31st, but he will stay in a hotel in Dallas next Wednesday night. He asked if we would keep his belongings (his bed, stereo, computers, clothes, dishes, etc) here while in basic camp and training camp. I said yes. He also asked if he could store his car here. After discussion, Scott and I agreed that we should let him keep his car in our garage. He would not be able to park it in the driveway or in front of the house because of a rule about "stored cars" for our homeowner's association. The news shocked me a bit, and while I was very happy for him I worried about him too. I feel much better about it now, but I'm going to miss him, and I hope this turns out to be something really good for him.
We accomplished far less than we set out to achieve this weekend. Scott will have off on Monday, and then will a half-day off on Tuesday before heading off to Kansas City for another training. I really hope this is the last out of town trip before the baby comes. We did get to mark off quite a bit off our list, but there are still things to do. I had hoped to spend next weekend doing absolutely nothing! Maybe one of these weekends before the baby comes . . .
