So the sleeping problems have begun. I havenít been able to get a good night's sleep in over a week and now it's really becoming evident. I'm having mood swings like crazy and my patience is paper thin. I don't think I felt this bad even within the first few weeks of Psalm's birth. I definitely got more sleep then than I am getting now. (I was blessed to have a baby who only woke up to nurse twice at 2am and 5am and by three months she was sleeping from about 10pm to 5am)
Ladies, you have to have some suggestions. Iíve tried body pillows and wedges . . . still no sleep. I toss and turn all night long and finally drift to sleep only to wake up startled because Iím either on my back on slightly on my tummy. To add to it all, we're staying with my in-laws and very cramped for space, so Psalm is sleeping with us until we move. I have four other "people" (Solomon, Psalm, my expanding tummy, and body pillow) in a queen size bed and it's driving me nuts.
Other than sleep problems there's nothing else new to report. The Baby continues to move so gracefully within, which is making me have the sneaking suspicion I had all the morning, well all-day sickness and itís another baby girl. S/he is just like his/her big sister not wanting to be touched. Psalm lays her head on my tummy and although I donít think the movement is strong enough to be felt on the outside, the baby will kick and kick until she finally moves (how cute is that!).
