This week I have nothing new to report. Iím getting used to living on less sleep and know one day in the very far future when Miss Brooklyn decides to start sleeping through the night, I too will get a full night's sleep.
I had my 24 week doctorís appointment along with my glucose test. I havenít heard anything back from the office, so hopefully no news is good news. The babyís heartbeat was very strong and the Doctor talked about the Rhogam Iíll be receiving at my 28 week appointment. I am RH negative and Solomon is positive, so I have to receive this shot at 28 weeks and after delivery to protect my body from making antibodies and attacking future babies. If Iím not mistaken both Casey and Lizelle (fellow StorkNet journalists) mentioned being in the RH negative club.
The Level II ultrasound came back prefect. Brooklyn is growing normally. The doctor also said since the ovarian cyst is shrinking we wouldnít have to do any more ultrasounds to watch the growth. I was a little saddened because every ultrasound was a chance to get a sneak peak at little Brooklyn. Weíre going to schedule a 3D/4D ultrasound between weeks 30-32, so I am looking forward to that.
Well, thatís all I have to report this week. Trying to take things easy and falling more and more in love with my two little girls everyday.
