~ Feeling Much Better
First I must apologize for my pity party report last week. I really didn't mean to sound so mopey, but I guess I just had to vent. So thank you for letting me get it off my chest. Secondly, I feel much better this week. I'm still tired in the evenings after work, but my mood seems to be remarkably improved (Dereck can vouch for that one). Work is still really busy but I think I've accepted that I can only do so much and what doesn't get done today, will be there tomorrow and there's nothing I can do about it.
Ok, enough about work, let's get down to business. I'm feeling pretty good still, just the typical body complaints at this stage. This little munchkin is a mover and a shaker! Maybe I just don't remember from Tanner, but I swear this one is much more active and packs a mighty punch. More and more people are trying to guess what I'm having by the way that I'm carrying and it's fun to just play the guessing game. I'm carrying much lower this time, which most people are saying it's a girl, but I think it's lower because it's already been stretched out once before! No more tight abs and skin for me (wait, who am I kidding, I lost that way before having Tanner!) Anyway, we've agreed on a boy's first name but that's it. Nothing for a middle name and not even close to any girls' names. I think it's Dereck's way of staying in denial that there is a chance that he could have a daughter. Don't get me wrong, he would love that little girl but I think he's terrified that he'll never be able to say "no" to anything. Oh well, he would just have to get over it, right!
We've got a lot of activities coming up in October and I know that the month is going to fly by. All the plans seem to be fun things, so I'm looking forward to the month. We are even sending Tanner out of town to his grandparents house for a WHOLE week! I will miss him, but I will also enjoy some down time with Dereck and getting the baby's room ready. Tanner loves going to their house; he's the only grandchild on Dereck's side and he gets the dickens spoiled out of him. I'm just so happy that they are willing to take him for that long and that he loves them so much. We are truly blessed to have the families that we have.
That's about it for me this week, I hope everyone enjoys a relaxing weekend and we'll talk next week.
