Week 29
~ Frustrations!

We had our doctor visit this past week. We did get some answers again, just not quite all that we were hoping for. My doctor did talk to the nurse whom she said she would ask, and the nurse said she would be willing. However, they decided they had a couple of more details to get answers on before committing to this. So, we will wait another two weeks to see what happens. I have to say that getting this close to the end without some more sure answers does have its stressful times. I do know that everything will work out, and we will just keep praying that it will be sooner than later.

Everything else with the appointment went well. Our nurse said that I did pass the glucose test with a score of 96, and that it is supposed to be below 130, so it sounds like we are good there. I'm glad we will not have to do any more testing with that. Baby's heart rate was anywhere from 137 bpm clear up to 162 bpm. Our little one was moving around lots this time when she was listening to the heart beat, so who knows. I know it's all just a guessing game, but I'm not feeling so strongly about a girl anymore.

On the home front, Michael's potty training is not going as well as I had hoped. At the rate we are going, I'm pretty sure we will not be having any success before baby time. My frustration level with this is pretty high. I know that eventually it will happen, but I was really looking forward to one less diaper to change. I guess miracles do happen. I'm pretty sure that's what it's going to take to see results before baby. Sigh!

I believe Fall is upon us here. I love Fall with the crispness in the air, the changing colors, and I finally feel like I can bake in the oven again without adding to the extreme heat in the house. It also brings with it Thanksgiving which is my favorite holiday. There is always so much good food to eat. Wow, just thinking about it is making me hungry.

Hope you have a wonderful week!
