In an attempt to not bore you all, I decided to combine the last two weeks since there was just not much going on here. I have however, entered the last trimester. Yay!! When I think that there are only twelve weeks left, and quite possibly less, I get a little stressed over getting it all done. I know it will all come together though, just like it did with the others.
We have finally chosen names. It was way more difficult than I anticipated too. The girl's name was actually not too bad, but choosing a boy name was ridiculous. I am sure part of that was because we have used so many that we like, that the remainder were 'just okay' for us. It is nice to finally have them figured out.
As far as our sweet little one is concerned, baby is still doing great. I have been feeling okay, but there are a few more discomforts that seem to be showing up. There were five or six days where I had some pretty extreme stretching and itching right on the front of my belly close to my belly button, that pretty much felt like my skin was going to rip apart. I have no idea why it was suddenly so painful, since I did not change anything. I could not put on enough oil or lotion to make it feel better. Finally after a few days, that area revealed a couple of nice big stretch marks. Lovely.
On a more positive note though, there was one night recently that I actually slept a little over eight hours straight without getting up to go to the bathroom. It was wonderful. Usually I wake up at least twice. I know that this is all part of the time preparing for the nightly feedings when baby arrives; I just wish it started a little closer to baby's arrival. The Braxton Hicks seem to have stepped it up another notch this week also. It always seems to me that they are pretty frequent, where I will have them for long periods of time during different times of the day, being even more often in the evenings. So I decided to time them, just to make sure I was not crazy. Sure enough, they were coming every 7-10 minutes and lasting around a minute and it continued on for a couple of hours. This is just normal from here on out, I am afraid . . . but hey, not too much time left to go now!
I hope you all have a great week!
