Weeks 29 & 30
Still Cruising Along

I wish I had something more exciting to write, but there doesn't seem to be many changes over the past couple weeks! I'm definitely getting bigger and baby girl's kicks are getting stronger. But besides that, all is okay for now. The sciatic nerve pain is still at bay. Swollen feet are still being kept at bay most days by drinking enough and putting my feet up enough. Sleeping is still broken, but not too uncomfortable.

So really I don't have much else to update on! I guess that's a good thing, though, right?

Still craving fruits and chocolate, sometimes cheese. I'm trying to find quick and easy recipes to rely on lately as I don't like to be on my feet for too long in the kitchen to prevent swelling.

I feel like I'm a little bit in limbo because we have to wait about another month before we can finish the baby shopping. I'm just staying busy trying to keep the house in one piece, food on the table, do at least something educational with Svara each day, and keep up with my etsy shop, blog, etc. What I really want to be doing is shopping for and sorting through baby stuff, but I can't yet!

I can't believe I have only about 10 more weeks to go; this pregnancy is just really zipping by! I haven't been taking weekly belly shots, and I don't have a full length mirror up in my room (since I gave my dresser with the mirror to Svara) so when I do see my belly in the mirror in Svara's room I feel a bit shocked that it is getting so big! But I haven't gained much weight in the past couple weeks, if any at all. That's okay, I'm sure I'll start putting it on again!

One of the most annoying things about being pregnant is that I get SO moody. I feel irritated by so many things, often little things that usually wouldn't bother me. It's like having PMS all the time, so I renamed it "pregnancy moody syndrome" so I can still say I have PMS haha! Poor Svara can sense when I am grumpy, tired, etc. She does her best to try to cheer me up and be helpful; she's such a sweetie. And she likes to sing songs to her baby sister.

It hasn't been quite as hot the past couple weeks, so that's a nice change. I mean, it's still HOT, but not quite as hot. Today there is even a nice breeze coming in the windows, probably because it rained last night.

I guess that's about it for this time, hopefully I'll have something more interesting to write about in the next few weeks other than same old symptoms!
