~ Ready for a Nap

The title about sums up my life right now, I'm always ready for a nap! Luckily since Naren works from home and I work from home I am usually able to fit in a nap each day (usually while Svara is watching her show after lunch). Unfortunately it means my online work is suffering greatly. Ah well, better to rest than to be overly tired and stressed out!

My first appointment is tomorrow, so I'll update you on that next week. I can't wait to see the heartbeat! I should be anywhere from 6 weeks 2 days to 6 weeks 4 days, so hopefully far enough along to see the heartbeat.

A couple of days ago I had plans to meet a friend in the afternoon to go for a movie and dinner. So Naren decided that he'd take Svara out the whole day. They went around visiting various family members and she had a blast swimming and playing with all her cousins. And what did I do? I had a wonderful morning and afternoon of simply relaxing. I also managed to make some apple crisp, which I have been wanting for awhile, so that was a nice treat to share with my friend when she came to pick me up. But other than that it was just the perfect relaxing day. Doesn't happen too often! My friend and I went to see the 3D version of Journey 2. I found it quite predictable in plot, but the scenery was beautiful and the effects were really cool. So it was nicely entertaining. Then we went to TGI Fridays for dinner (yep, they have it here in Malaysia!). TGI Fridays doesn't have a lot of vegetarian options, but it's quite easy to choose something like a sandwich or one of the pasta options and just get veggies instead of the chicken or whatever the meat is. My current favorite is their Southwestern mac'n'cheese with LOTS of broccoli and green beans on the side.

The nausea has definitely gotten worse this week. The only things I've been craving are salad and fresh fruits. Other than that it's quite difficult to choose what to eat, because nothing sounds good. When I do find something that I will eat I usually do NOT feel like eating the leftovers the next day even if it's something I usually love. So this should make the next few weeks interesting, trying to find food to eat! Poor Naren, he has been stuck eating all the leftovers that I just can't stomach.

That's about it for this week. I'll let you know next week how the appointment went!
