We are leaving for Pennsylvania either this evening or early tomorrow morning. A great uncle of Adam's passed away yesterday and the funeral will be on Friday, with the visitation being on Thursday in the afternoon and in the evening. We would both rather leave this evening, seeing that the majority of the driving would be done at night. Anyone with small children can understand why that would be a plus! That would get us there sometime mid-afternoon tomorrow and would allow us some time to unwind from the drive (for we will drive straight through either way) and to chat with family members. Unfortunately, Adam is working 12 hours today and will not be getting home until 6 pm. He's not sure how much driving he will actually be able to do and I'm not the best night driver. We do have a full bed in the back of the van, so it is possible for us to pull over at some rest stop and catch a few hours of sleep.
I have the suspicion that this baby is going to be bigger than my other children (Maacah was my smallest at 6lbs 2 oz and Malachi was my largest was 8lbs 6oz). Not only because I think I'm bigger at this stage then I have been before, but because I can feel movement so intensely. I'm not any smaller than I was with my other children, so that can't be the reason. I know they say that with subsequent pregnancies, you feel things more. And perhaps this is the reason for me feelings the movements more keenly. I guess we'll see in about 6 weeks or so.
Anyway, I need to get off my duff and go pack the van and everyone's clothes! Hope everyone has a good week/end!
