I hope that everyone had a safe and happy Easter. This Easter we had lunch at my mom and dad's, and of course the kids hunted eggs. As you can see Albrey dumped her basket. I did not get to hunt with them as I worked on Easter, but we did take her to the church egg hunt on Saturday so I got to hunt with her there. I picked up some part time work taking care of my boss' mother every other weekend, so I worked on Easter and got to eat lunch with my whole family.
I will say that working every other weekend is a blessing during this tough economy and the extra cash comes in handy. Reygen's dad still is not paying child support and his unemployment ran out, so we are back to square one with that. Reygen did get to spend time with him Easter weekend and called for Chris or I to pick her up that morning at 9 am but I was working so my dad went to pick her up. I did ask her why she wanted to come home so early, and she told us that she did not get a basket but her brother and sister did. That really made me mad!!! How hard is it to make things fair and equal? Apparently they don't at their house but we do at my house. I am really over the situation and if she never wants to go back I don't blame her.
On a lighter note we celebrated my mom's 60th birthday this past weekend. We all surprised her at Red Lobster for her birthday, and we had a really good time. The picture you see of Reygen and Albrey is from her dinner and Albrey has cocktail sauce on her shirt. Both of the kids were really good and I am glad we could celebrate with my mom. Chris' mom found out she has Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma and is undergoing chemo. I really could not believe that just as a year came around that I had lost my grandma, his mom found out she has cancer and it is already in her bones. She opted for the chemo so we will see what happens.
Everyday I fall more in love with my husband if you can imagine that. I never thought it was possible to love someone as much as I love him and I am so grateful that I found him. He is such a great dad to both of my girls! On the weekends that I don't work we have been going down to the river to jet ski and play with the kids. Chris is teaching Reygen to drive it so one day she will be able to drive on her own. I am such a water baby and cannot wait for the summer when we will spend much of it in the water. Albrey hangs out with me at the dock or if I am on the jet ski Chris keeps her. Reygen usually has about four of her friends come down there with us and we just hang out and cook! The kids have a great time as they all take turns with Chris or me driving them and jumping the waves.
Well now that I have bored you guys to death I probably should get back to work. Until next time take care and enjoy spring!!!!
