Kat's Pregnancy After Loss Journal

Week 21
~ I still have HOW long to go?

So, in a way you could say that I've now been pregnant for a year and a half. Sometimes it feels that way since there was only a three month break in between pregnancies, and I don't have a baby to show for it. So to me right now, 21 weeks is feeling like 52. I'm just so anxious to have a baby in my arms finally, at home and healthy!

Let's see . . . my next appointment is October 10th or 12th, can't remember which. Baby is kicking up a storm and starting to get on more of a schedule. His movements are much unlike Alex's, who's movements seemed to be primarily in response to a loud noise or if I rested my arm on my belly, he'd squirm away as if annoyed. This baby is a kicker, very little wiggles and lots of jumps and bumps.

Nothing much new. Construction on our remodel is . . . slow and steady. I'm still hoping to have the new rooms done and everyone moved in by the time the baby comes, but it's almost October so who knows. I'm not really sure I mentioned this before, preggo brain strikes again! We are adding 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, and a "family closet" to our current 3 bedroom 2 bath home. A big chunk of cash and many headaches later, I hope it's worth it. Our plumber and heating guys are nothing but whiners so they've been holding up the show!

ttfn! See ya next week!
