In Memory of Nicholas
March 24, 1998 will be Nicholas' fourth birth and death anniversary. We had a graveside memorial service Saturday afternoon, since my husband will be at work Tuesday afternoon and evening. (I have to let my friends, Shirl and Bory Rapport know that we went out to eat after the memorial, and had some phenomenal Matzo Ball soup. Matzo Ball Soup is great comfort food. If you have never had it, you do not know what you are missing). However, since I need to memorialize the date, I will have some friends over on Tuesday. It makes me very sad to think that I am observing Nicholas' death anniversary, rather than celebrating the fourth birthday of a happy, bouncy little redheaded son. I love four-year olds. This is my favorite age. I am very sad. I don't have anything much to say about it other than that. I am including some photographs of Nicholas, so you can see how beautiful he was.
