~ Mum's the Word!
Today I had my first OB appointment, and found out I am seven weeks along and due at the end of May - my due date is actually the anniversary of my D&C for my lost pregnancy, which is a bit disconcerting. So far I have been feeling much better than last time, I have more energy and am not nearly as nauseous as I was before. I still need to take afternoon naps though, and I'm very lightheaded all the time; the doctor said my blood pressure is 100/50, which is pretty low, so I have to be careful about getting up too quickly.
In other exciting news, my husband, Aaron, and I just bought our first home! We'll be moving at the end of January, which will be pretty cold and snowy, but I can't wait. Aaron is a bit grumpy that I won't be able to do any of the painting or lifting, but he's excited too.
As far as the pregnancy goes, we're not telling too many people yet. After what happened last time we're trying to be cautious. We've told a couple of close friends for support, but we're holding off telling the grandparents and great-grandparents until our IPS results come back. They took it very hard last time, and we don't want to cause more heartache than is necessary. We should get our IPS results just before Christmas, which will be a perfect time to tell them. It won't be hard to keep it from my family because they live five hours away, but Aaron's family are going to prove more tricky. I supose it's helpful that I never really stopped wearing my maternity clothes (nothing else I owned fit me). The hardest part will be getting through Thanksgiving without letting something slip, but I am sure we'll manage.
I think that is all for now.
Until next week,
