Kim's Twin Pregnancy Journal

Week 17
~ The Difference a Week Can Make

Two very wonderful things have happened since my last journal entry. The first thing is that I'm completely over my cold. It took me a long time to get over it and I'm so happy to be feeling back to myself. The other great thing is that for the past week, I have been feeling movement at least once a day. This is by far my favorite thing about being pregnant and I'm so happy to be at this stage. I'm excited for the kicks and movements to get bigger and stronger and get to the point that my husband and kids can feel them. I read yesterday that they're each 5 inches long from their heads to their bottoms. I can't believe how big they are getting!

In some ways I am feeling better, but other ways, I'm feeling worse. My zombie-ness has subsided and turned into just regular tiredness. This is good. I think I will forever be tired, so this is as good as it's going to get. Also, daily headaches are gone. I still get them a couple of times a week but that's better than every day. Thankfully, Tylenol has been getting rid of them. The things that have been getting worse are back pain, hip pain and moodiness. I go from happy to angry to crying in about 2 seconds.

Another thing I read is that their sense of hearing is developing. Hopefully they get used to the noise level of the house. Between my older two kids fighting about nothing and everything and my younger two crying constantly, plus a very stressed out me telling everyone to stop and (gasp) sometimes even yelling. Hopefully they will be heavy sleepers once they come.

Until next week!
