Week 23
~ Low Iron and a Stomach Bug

I had an appointment with my OB this week. Everything is looking pretty good. Baby A had a heart rate in the 150's and Baby B's was in the 140's. My blood pressure was looking a lot better this time, too. And surprisingly, I'm not measuring that big. Only 26 weeks. I do feel pretty big but I guess I don't look as big as I feel. She also told me that I could get a prescription for Flonase if I want it for my congestion. I'm thinking of calling and asking if they'll do that for me. I have been using Breathe Right strips lately. They help some but I still have trouble sleeping.

I also mentioned that I think my iron levels have dropped off since I've been even more tired than usual lately. She said that I can start taking a supplement now rather than test it twice. I started taking it a few days ago but haven't really noticed an improvement. Hopefully it starts working soon.

My husband and I, as well as my youngest two kids seem to have somehow caught a stomach bug. I'm not sure how we caught it but it's not been very fun. My kids that are in school seem to be immune, which is good. I guess that's one of the upsides of going to school. My 1 year-old seems to have kicked it and my 2.5 year old has it the worst and can't kick it. Thankfully there hasn't been much vomiting but I'm so tired of stinky diapers about 10 times a day. Hoping we all start feeling better soon. I don't think we've ever had a stomach bug that lasted so long.
