Week 25
~ Camera Time

Yep, I'm actually going to do it. I'm going to let someone take my picture, double chin and all . . .

Since Jenn and I will never again be pregnant at the same time (I don't plan on ever being pregnant again, period!), we decided we couldn't pass up the opportunity to have some belly shots taken together. It ought to be a pretty funny experience, especially considering she is 38+ weeks pregnant, and I'm just over 25. She looks ready to pop, and I'm finally looking more pregnant than fat! It's an experience I'll never share with another sister, however, so I'm really looking forward to it. One of my former students will be taking them, so it will definitely be a fun time! She started working professionally last year while she was a senior and has built a thriving photography business already. She does an amazing job, and I will probably post a couple pictures once we have them. I plan on doing it again around the first part of June with Ken and the boys.

Everything is still going great with this pregnancy. This little guy is so active! He is still very low, and it's not unusual at all to feel like he's bouncing from hip bone to hip bone. I tend to get a little worried when I don't feel like he's as active as usual, but a couple chocolate chip cookies will usually do the trick. Sometimes they work too well! For the moment, we've settled on a name. We'll see if we stick. My youngest likes it, and my oldest doesn't. It isn't my favorite, but my husband really likes it, mostly because it's the closest we'll ever come to a child of mine sharing any part of my name. So we'll see how it goes.

Fourth quarter started this week, so we are officially counting down to the last day of school. Needless to say, I can't wait. I'm not usually in a rush for the school year to end, but the last couple years, I have been. Things just aren't the same around here anymore, and they are getting ready to change yet again. It would be nice if we had some stability in the administration. I'm not upset that I won't be starting the school year on time next year, either. Perhaps things will have settled down from the switching and the new person by the time I get back. That reminds me, I need to get an email sent with tentative dates, so that my leave will be approved.

That's really all I have for this week. There's not a whole lot going on, so I don't have a whole lot to write about. I hope everyone is enjoying the same beautiful weather we are getting here in the midwest. We have been outside after school every day this week! Hopefully, we are truly having an early spring, and it doesn't get cold again.
