Week 34
~ Very Uneventful

Well, after the painful excitement of last week, this week has been very uneventful. I'm finally not tip-toeing around, waiting for the pain to hit. I am, however, drinking massive quantities of water to prevent this from happening. I thought I was making a lot of bathroom trips before. It's nothing compared to what I'm doing now!! Oh well. It's a small price to pay to stay pain free and off pain meds. I know they are safe for the baby (I've had my OB, my family doctor, and two nurses assure me), but I still don't want to take them if I can help it.

Otherwise, we're just trucking along. I have all the baby shower stuff that still needs to be sorted through, but I did get my thank you notes done! Now I just need to make it to the mailbox with them. It took me a week to remember to get stamps. The exciting news is that it's our final full week of school. Senior finals were yesterday and today, and freshmen-junior finals are Friday and Monday. At this moment, I am officially caught up. Everything, including the finals already taken, is graded. It's nice that the light at the end of the proverbial tunnel is nice and bright, where school is concerned at least!

Approximately 5 1/2 weeks til the baby comes, however, and that light is very dim. I know that's not much time really, and I'm not really complaining. I'm just tired of being pregnant so it seems like an eternity. I'm ready to get my body back, be able to move without thinking about it, and get back into my own clothes. I'm ready to be able to pick him up and lay him down when I want to. I don't remember feeling this way with the other two, but I probably did. I think it's probably a pretty common feeling at this point!

Well, I really don't have a lot to say this week. By this time next week I'll have had another doctor's appointment, and I'll officially be on summer break. I'm sure I'll have plenty to write about then!!
