Week 37
~ Finally Uneventful

Well, after the kidney stone issues of week 36, week 37 was very uneventful, which was quite nice. I really don't have much to report at all. My doctor's appointment, aside from waiting for over an hour, was pretty boring. Everything looks good, and he's going to check me next week to see if anything is going on. I'm very high, which is killing my ribs, but otherwise, I feel really good.

I did brave letting my 11 year old have 3 boys spend the night for his birthday. He had a laser tag party with 7 boys and his dad, and I ended up letting 3 spend the night. It went pretty well, all things considered. I know at this point in my pregnancy, I should be having issues sleeping, but I just don't. I crash at a decent hour most nights, and it's rare that I wake up before 6 for a bathroom run. I'm guessing this is because I'm carrying high. I pee a lot during the day, but night time is pretty easy on me. So, I was asleep by 11, and my husband got to deal with the kids! Lol. It worked for me. G had a great time though, and that's all that matters. Laser tag was a lot of fun. At the place we went, they got 3 games, unlimited soft drinks, a party room and hostess, 30 cupcakes, and 4 pizzas. It was pretty reasonably priced, and I didn't have to do anything! It worked for me and was exactly what he wanted. We are still planning on a trip to Holiday World as well, but that will be towards the end of the summer. I refuse to pay for a ticket and then not be able to do anything, so I told him he had to wait until after the baby came for that part of his birthday.

This is a boring entry, but there's really not a lot going on. Just waiting! I did finally do more towards getting ready. We now have a bassinet and a swing. They aren't put together yet, mind you, but I figure if I go into labor, I'll send my mom and dad to take care of that! Lol. Next week I plan on painting my bedroom and laying floor. (Yes, I have permission.) Once that's done, I'll be able to better get the area for the baby ready. So hopefully, next week, I can report all that done.
