This past week has been rather uneventful pregnancy wise. I wish I had something really exciting to write about. Everything is pretty much just status quo. I am still fighting a bit of the sour stomach, however it does seem to be getting better. I do still however have trouble finding any foods that even sound good to eat. That is so unusual for me. In my everyday non-pregnant life I LOVE food. When I was pregnant with the twins, I LOVED food. Not loving food so much this time around. I wonder if that's because I am older or just because it's "this" pregnancy?
The other thing is I still just can't seem to get enough sleep. I get up at 5:30 am for work and am home by 3pm. I put Dylan and Kaylee down for a nap and I go down for one as well. Almost always I can get at least an hour or hour and a half. Then I'm back in bed by 9pm and asleep by 9:10pm. My poor husband, I think he feels he no longer has a wife.
Our only pressing news is that we are getting closer to moving. We had actually planned on relocating to Colorado when this school year was over. So we had started making our plans to get ready when lo and behold, I found out I was pregnant. Obviously we are very excited, but it put a bit of a bug in our plans. We had already dealt with our house, so now we had to find someplace else to live for the next year. Well, we finally found a 4-bedroom rental that will work. It was a bit of a mad scramble, but we finally got it all worked out and got the deposit and lease taken care of. So, in the next couple of weeks, we'll be moving. Not what I was planning on having to do while I was pregnant, but at least when I am as large as a house, I'll be able to relax and not have to worry about unpacking boxes.
Also, I have already had strangers asking me if I am pregnant. Now mind you, I had a nice belly from carrying two babies last time, but I have already "popped" this time and I'm only 10 weeks. I attached a picture for you to see. I have a feeling I'm going to have a pretty big belly this time around as well. I kept weekly photos of when I was pregnant with the twins, so it will be interesting to see the difference from week to week.
Guess that's all the news I have for now. Sorry, not a very interesting update. I don't have another ultrasound until 12 weeks so I'll be sure to let you all know how that goes.
Hugs and belly rubs!
