~ The Big Move
First off, let me apologize for this entry coming so late. I actually submitted weeks 11-13 this week as I have had some computer problems. As the titled mentioned, we moved and our Internet got disconnected earlier than it was supposed to and then we had trouble getting it up and running once we got into the new house. So please accept my apologies for these late entries.
So, onto this week's news. This has been a very hectic time. As the title mentions, we spent the better part of this last week moving into our new house. And to make matters worse, we went from a larger house to a smaller house with not as much storage space. Needless to say, it has been a hard move. For some reason, we seem to like to move when I am pregnant. When I was about 7 ½ months pregnant with the twins, we moved as well. I think I am a crazy lunatic when it comes to timing. We also live in Arizona and we seem to do these moves when our weather is hot. Last time, it was July and our temps were 115+. At least this time, it was a bit cooler and only in the high 70's on the actual move day. Yep, just plain bonkers.
But we are all finished now except for unpacking those last few boxes and getting our garage situated so that we can park at least one of our vehicles in there. Those last boxes though just seem to be staring at me, as I can't quite seem to get them done. I'm exhausted.
Now, my next project will be getting the nursery painted and the furniture that's currently being stored in there moved out. Then move the nursery furniture in. I'm thinking I'll tackle that project in a month or after I've recovered from the move.
I also realized that I haven't really updated on the pregnancy itself in the last couple of entries. I think I am finally over my little bout of morning sickness. My appetite has returned somewhat and I am now having times where food is actually sounding good. I have very few days now where I feel queasy as well, which I am quite happy about. I am so glad I didn't have the morning sickness like so many women do, but I'll tell you, it stunk nonetheless. I'm so glad to be passing that stage.
Until next time . . . hugs and belly rubs!
