Week 15
~ Getting Sick???

14 weeks, 3 daysFor the past several days I feel like I have been fighting a sinus infection. Then of course, when I call to make a doctor's appointment to get it checked, it seemed to be going away. Now, a couple of days later, it seems to be coming back. Crazy!

I recall having sinus issues when I was pregnant before, but I thought it was much later in the pregnancy. I am so hoping this is not going to be an ongoing thing throughout this pregnancy. My poor husband may have to sleep in the other room since his freight train of a wife is keeping him awake. Good thing for him he invested in some earplugs or he may never get any sleep.

I will be seeing my doctor at 16 weeks for my monthly checkup, so I will bring this up to him and see what he suggests. I am thinking there may be some things to do before I resign to taking meds. I don't like to take meds in general but I especially don't like to take them when I am pregnant.

Also, I attached a picture to this entry . . . thought you all might like to see my growing belly. I have really popped out and everyone notices. My guess is I am showing so much since I already have a belly prior to getting pregnant. That coupled with having a twin, c-section pregnancy prior? Well, let's just say it's not a good combination. At any rate, this was taken on Easter Sunday and I was 14 weeks 3 days pregnant. Enjoy, but no laughing!!!

Next week, I'll be able to report my progress as my doctor sees it. I am excited to go, but there will be no ultrasound, so a little bummed about that. I got so spoiled last time. Since I was carrying twins I was considered high risk and therefore got an ultrasound at EVERY appointment. It was so much fun! This go around, I'll have to take them as I can get them.

Until next week . . . hugs and belly rubs!
