Week 32
~ Head Down!

As I mentioned last entry, I had a doctor's appointment coming up. All went well and I've gained another 3 lbs. I think that puts me up to about 20 lbs total, which isn't too bad. Considering I only have about 6 1/2 weeks left, I'm good with that amount.

My doctor listened to baby's heartbeat and all was good. He also told me that the baby has moved into the head down position. That explains a lot of the way I have been feeling him kick lately. Since I am having a c-section, the head down position isn't as big of a deal, but it's still nice to know that he's doing what he should be.

I have been a little freaked out about the whole c-section. I'm not nervous for the actual surgery since I've been through it before. I'm more nervous about the recovery. I remember the pain involved and it wasn't fun. They say it's not as bad the second time around, so I am hoping that is true. I'm also nervous how Dylan and Kaylee are going to react to having me be gone for a few days. It's not like I have never been apart from them, but never for something like this. I have been trying to explain to them exactly what is going to happen and what to expect so that they aren't scared. We are also planning on having them at the hospital so they can be there when their baby brother is born. I really want to have them feel involved. We are also planning on making some t-shirts for them to wear on the big day. So hopefully I'll be able to ease their fears as well.

It's just so hard to believe that it is so close. My only other real concern is that we still can't decide on a name for this little guy and that is really bothering me. By this time with the twins, we had the names nailed down. This time, we just can't come up with something that we agree on. My doctor told me there is a 10% chance I could go into labor early and it will be my luck I will and this kid will be born with no clue of a name for him!

Time is winding down and I feel like it's getting to be crunch time. I don't have any major things left to do (other than his name!) but I have all of these little things that are still lingering. Hopefully next week I'll get the loose ends tied up and we'll be completely ready.

Until next time . . . hugs and belly rubs!
