So this week has not brought on much of anything eventful. No doctors appointments, no major changes . . . nothing!
The only real thing that I have had to deal with is the bit of morning sickness. This is totally new territory for me, as I didn't experience it when I was pregnant with the twins or with the pregnancy that I lost. I can honestly say I wish I wasn't experiencing it this time either.
I can't complain too much as I have it so much easier than many woman. I am not actually throwing up, but rather have to deal with a sour stomach. I find it difficult to find anything that sounds good to eat and usually have to force myself to eat. Why can't I have this problem when I'm not pregnant???? It would make weight management so much easier. Anyway, when I do eat, nothing seems to sit too well. I'm hoping this won't last too long. So far it's been just over a week. Maybe I'll get lucky and it will go away sooner rather than later.
The only other real symptom that I have is sore boobs. Man . . . they are not big, but they sure do hurt. Heaven forbid one of my kiddos bumps into me. It about sends me to space! I remember that with my other pregnancies as well and if I recall, long about the second trimester it tapered off.
Other than that, nothing too exciting has been happening. Life is just plugging along as usual. I did finally tell my students (I'm an aide for a first grade class) that I was expecting and they were all quite excited. I had wanted to wait until the ultrasound was done to know that all was okay before I told too many people, just in case.
Next week I do have an appointment at my OB's office, but it's just a nurse visit to go over my medical history. I don't have another ultrasound until March 4th. Hoping to take Dylan and Kaylee to that one.
Hope you all had a great week. Hugs and Belly rubs!
