I can tell this little guy is getting bigger and bigger. Not only am I feeling him move around more, he just feels bigger. My belly feels heavier and harder, and its definitely getting bigger by the day it seems.
I can't really distinguish when the baby rolls yet but I know he must be doing so. This week I feel like all I've been doing is going to the bathroom. I seriously feel like I have to pee every 10 minutes. I can only guess that he rolls around and then settles on my bladder, as I will feel like this for several hours and then it goes away for a while. Needless to say, the bathroom and I have become quite good friends lately.
Next week I have my OB appointment. I can't believe that I will be 26 weeks pregnant already. I have to take my 1-hour glucose test so I need to drink the drink 1 hour before my actual appointment so they can do the blood draw. It's really nice because this office does their own blood draws for most things so I don't have to go somewhere else to a lab. It's just one appointment for both my prenatal checkup and the draw.
I'm not quite sure what to expect. With the twins, I failed the 1-hour test and ended up having to take the 3-hour. I passed the 3-hour with no issues. With Ethan, I passed the 1-hour with no problem. So who knows how it will go this time. I'm hoping I pass, as I really hate getting stuck with needles.
Other than that, life is just moving along. This pregnancy is going by so quickly it seems. I guess already having three kids limits my time for just sitting and enjoying being pregnant. It makes me a bit sad since I know this will be the last time I do this. I was hoping to be able to savor it a bit more. Oh well, life goes on.
Until next time . . .
