~ Starting to Show
So... I have had a few more people notice my condition. We had a magazine guy come and try to sell to us, and he asked me when the baby was due. Initially I said I had a metabolism disorder, but once I saw the look of horror on his face I let him know I was kidding. Not that I am trying to hide my pregnancy, I just thought it would be fun to do and why not play a little joke on a door-to-door salesman? Also at Denny's (whether it was my belly or that I ate a TON) the hostess also asked when I was due. She said she would take a winter pregnancy over a summer one anyday, but I think the summer would be fun to be pregnant. Of course, I was pregnant all summer but I had crippling fatigue and I didn't like the heat being so tired already. And this also gets me... when I felt like total crap, NO ONE asked me how I felt. Now, I am asked all the time! It's not a big deal but I think people have a general idea that the first trimester contains fatigue, nausea, miscarriage fears... so they know not to ask. It's nice to know people care though!
I still have 18 weeks left of pregnancy... wow. Chris' sister just had a baby and she said her's flew by, but I don't think that will be the case for me. I was at Kohl's merrily on my way to the maternity section... passed by my former clothing, and those clothes have NEVER looked so good! I hope I will be in a 13 or 14 right after the baby (I can still wear a 10 in my stretchy pants) but I hope to get in great shape once I recover.
